L’évaluation diagnostique en kinésithérapie respiratoire permet d’évaluer l’impact existant ou probable d’un problème médical sur la qualité de vie d’un patient, à court, moyen ou long terme. Il s’agit ensuite d’évaluer les possibilités de participer à traiter le problème médical lui-même ou d’en modifier l’impact par la pratique d’une kinésithérapie efficiente, partie intégrante d’un projet thérapeutique pluridisciplinaire.
Les objectifs communs et réalistes seront négociés avec le patient et les autres soignants à partir de l’expression de l’impact de la maladie par le patient lui-même. Leur réalisation sera alors évaluée d’après des critères partagés.

The development of a diagnosis and a physiotherapy project : an assessment approach
The diagnostic assessment in respiratory physiotherapy is used to assess the existing or probable short, medium or long-term impact of a medical problem as regards the quality of life of a patient. It then assesses the possibilities of participating in the treatment of the medical problem itself or modifying its impact through the practice of effective physiotherapy, an integral part of a multi-disciplinary therapeutic project.
The shared and realistic goals are negotiated with the patient and other health professionals from the expression of the impact of the disease by the patient himself. The goals can then be assessed according to shared criteria.
