La Classification internationale du fonctionnement, du handicap et de la santé : de la CIH1 à la CIF

Résumé :
Alors que nous intégrons à peine la CIH dans sa première version dans nos pratiques en kinésithérapie, l’Organisation mondiale de la santé (OMS) valide la Classification internationale du fonctionnement, du handicap et de la santé (CIF) ou CIH2.
Le rappel du concept CIH1 permettra de comprendre l’évolution vers la CIF dont on évoquera les buts et applications, ainsi que les grilles de codage des différentes parties d’un concept plus généraliste, positif et social que celui de Wood. Les facteurs environnementaux et personnels sont ajoutés et la partie concernant le physique de la personne se trouve subdivisée en fonction et structure.
Au travers des définitions proposées par l’OMS et l’intrication des modèles de santé et sociaux, il devient possible d’imaginer les perspectives d’utilisation de cette nouvelle classification.

The international classification of functioning, disability and health : CIH1 to CIF
While we integrate hardly the ICH into its first version in our practices in physiotherapy, the World health organisation (WHO) confirms the International classification of the functioning, the handicap and the health (ICF) or ICH2.
The reminder of the concept ICH1 will allow to understand the evolution towards the ICF among which one chose the purposes and the applications one will evoke as well as the railings of coding of the various parts of a concept more non-specialized, positive and social than the Wood’s one. The environmental and personal factors are added and the part concerning the physical appearance of the person is subdivided in function and structure.
Through the definitions proposed by the WHO and the intricacy of the models of health, medical and social, it becomes possible to imagine the perspectives of use of this new classification.
