Re-education of the posterior perineum
Ano-rectal dysfunction mainly consists of incontinence and terminal constipation. They are common and are related to anatomic lesions or result from other diseases (cancer, etc.). They greatly hamper the socio-professional life of patients but are not well-known since they have only been studied for about ten years. For this reason, only several specialists treat them medico-surgically.
It is necessary to create networks of practitioners by providing them with the required training and supervision. The purpose is to provide the patient with the most assistance while, at the same time, reducing health costs.
